A WAY THAT SEEMS RIGH TO MAN
Proverbs 16:25, There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Man’s unregenerate nature is such that as long as things “seem” to be a certain way, that’s the way, he/she accepts it. They accept what they see, touch, smell, hear and taste (the 5 senses).
Most deal with it in their own limited ability, without knowing the knowledge of the Truth of God’s Word, the best they can and some are so overwhelmed that they cannot deal with it without help of drugs, alcohol or something to use as a crutch.
Everybody’s different, yet somewhat the same. Faced with the exact set of circumstances, most people will make similar decisions. Without realizing the big picture of God’s ultimate system He has put together to gain a friend,
Abraham was called a “friend of God” and that satan plays a part in this as being the “god of this world”, they don’t realize or some don’t even believe that the supernatural governs the natural. What we as humans believe, say and do either lines up with the principles of God or satan and ultimately will turn out the way our actions and speech are, for example in Mark 11:23, the last part of the verse “you shall have whatsoever you say” whether we say we are Christian or not or regardless of what we claim to be religiously doesn‘t change reality. Fact is, religion (many different kinds all over the world) will not save anybody, mostly is delusion by the deceiver of men, the devil through traditions and other ways and means. What if everybody really believed the Word that says you will have what you say? How different would things be? Would our conversations change? The scripture says that life and death is in the power of the tongue (Pr 18:21).
Some people will come to the Lord for help and others will go further away, both hating the situation they find themselves in and not really knowing what to do about it. Some say, “you aren’t going to tell me about that God stuff”, well, they are the very ones that are being dictated to by satan. It’s as if he has a ring in their nose attached to a large chain and is leading them about in every chaotic way he chooses and they are ignorantly being bashed.
Others, like I say, start turning to the Lord, but there are so many voices out there all saying they have the truth about God that the person is still overwhelmed. Now only God knows the person and if they are truly after Truth, God will see to it they are exposed to it. Everything that glitters is not gold and everything that says it’s Christian is not. Only what God’s Truth says is right, not anybody’s opinion, creed, or doctrine. Paul said, Gal 1:8-9
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
That’s very clear and Jesus said, John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
There is no Truth outside of the Truth of the Word of God. Peter said, 2 Peter 1:20, Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. So, the natural mind alone without the revelation of the Spirit of God cannot understand the True meaning of God’s Word. They can understand it intellectually and draw different opinions about it, but they will not understand it in Spirit and in Truth. (Jn 4:24).
In summary, natural human born spirit beings using their natural soul (mind, reasoning, etc) and natural human body without factoring in the Truth of God are doomed for eternity.
